Re: Transvaginal Ultrasound QuestionsFrom: Dianna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 20 Sep 2002 08:53:19 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Moira! Congrats on your new baby! I had several early u/s and like you was eager to learn about them. From all of the research I've done, I've learned that transvaginal ultrasounds will NOT hurt a baby. I personally did not spot after having the ultrasounds, but my dr. advised me that I could. At 6 1/2 weeks, we did not see a heartbeat, but saw a sack with a beautiful little blob in it. We did not see a heartbeat until 7 weeks, 5 days. What you see depends on the quality of the u/s machine that the dr. is using. I hope this help. Please let us know how it goes! > >At Thu, 19 Sep 2002, Moira wrote: >> >>I am about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and scheduled for a transvaginal >>ultrasound tomorrow. I have several questions: >> >>1.
