34 weeks pregnant & abdominal pain

Hi, I am 34 weeks pregnant and for the last 5 days I have had varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. It is usually accompained by backache and is either sharp pains (right across my lower abdomen) where it gets worse if I am mobile or a bit like period cramps. My bowels are fine and my urine was negative. Because it comes and goes I don't really want to bother my doctor. I have had 2 previous c/sections and a laparotomy after my 2nd c/section for severe internal bleeding cause unknown.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Also for a c/section with sterilisation would you recommend a epidural or spinal as anesthetic?
