Egg white cervical mucus is an ideal envirnoment for sperm as it nourishes it and creates long channels for it to travel to the cervix. Though, saying this, there are women who have gotten pregnant when they have only 'noticed' less fertile mucus including sticky mucus. If you like Dr. Braun then his advice (which you probably know), I believe is to have sex every other day between day 10 and 20. Because of the length of your cycles, you might want to try every other day between day 12 and 22.

Good luck!
