ultrasound-pregnant for eight weeks

My question is:

Is it safe to me and my little baby if I do ultrasound test (the complete test, not just a simple image test) now? I am pregnant for eight weeks, calculating from the first day of my last period.

Will the ultrasound test hurt my baby (hearing ability, nerves, etc.)? Should I wait other two months?
