I'm not a Dr but just to repeat what I read in one of my books. If you are carrying high and the baby's head isn't engaged or low, it should decend once your water breaks. If they have to break your water for you, then the head should decend and get into proper position for the birth. You probably won't have to have a c-section as long as the head continues to decend once the water has broken.
