I have had an ear infection since last saturday. I have been taking the antibiotic amoxicillin and using ear drops. I went back to the doctor this morning and he said the out ear does not look read but the clogged feeling and pain is from the middle ear and the tube. He told me it might not go away until I have the baby. Is this true? I have an appointment with an ENT on wed. and may be putting a tube in my ear. Is this what I should do or do you think a stronger antibiotic like augmention will get rid of it? I am starting the augmention tonight in hopes I won't have to go to the ENT. Any insight would be great. Thank you.
