The same thing happened to me 2 years ago. I had slight spotting like you did, but nothing out of the norm. The doctor finally performed an ultrasound and they found out that I had miscarried. I was given the option to wait and let nature takes it course or have a D&C performed. I waited two weeks, but nothing happened so I had a D&C. I was reassured by my doctor that miscarriages are pretty common. 1 out 4 pregnancy will end in miscarriage.

The good news, is that your next pregnancy has a great chance that it will be normal. I am 16 weeks pregnant ;-) I was really nervous during my first trimester. Once I saw my baby precious heart beating, sigh, what a relief! I am scheduled for another ultrasound this Monday. I am a bit nervous, but I am praying that everything is A okay.

I hope this info. will help you heal and give you courage to try again soon.
