6.5 months post-partum, breastfeeding only at night, still period hasn't returned?

Is breastfeeding only at night (usually only once or twice during the night), for the past four months, still enough to supress my period? I just started Ortho-Tryciclen and am halfway through my first pack. Should I expect my period once I get to the green pills?

Also, is it possible the surgery I had at 20 weeks pregnant to remove an ovarian cyst/tumor be causing this delay in menstration?

I hate to call my doctor, just for it to return the day after! Or is it time to call now?

THANKS!!
