I took Clomid for a year with no success---it made me ovulate but I still was not getting pregnant. I've since read to use Clomid for 3-4 cycles then move on. You might concieve within that time frame (about%40). I'm going to be trying IUI with Clomid - it's possible that there is some hinderence such as a problem with the sperm getting to the cervix. This will let you know --If that doesn't work for you then maybe they should try Clomid with injectibles. - Your RE must make sure they have done the other tests like the HSG dye test, etc. My RE doesn't do Post-coital tests and the testing of the lining etc. - she goes right to the IUI and if that doesn't work we find out why-don't waste time - I wasted 7 years piddeling around with the small stuff. Good luck!
