Am I considered high risk pregnancy?From: Joan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 Aug 2002 15:38:49 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 33, 8 weeks pregnant. Both my mom and mother-in-law have miscarriage history (one in first trimester, and one in second trimester) but they weren't sure whether there was any genetic problems or the causes. Other siblings are healthy though (excpet one with type I diabetes). Do all these increase the risk of my pregnancy? So far everything in my pregnancy seems fine, except I have had some very light brief spotting in week 4 (possible the implanation spotting?) However, I'm feeling anexious and worried. Should I consider any prenatal screening? Thanks,
-- Joan
