The beginning of your pregnancy is actually figured from the beginning of your last menstrual period. That means, for computational purposes, you are pregnant 2 weeks before you actually conceive. However when they do the first ultrasound, they measure the baby, thus giving you the "true" conception date of the fetus and a more accurate due date. Hope this helps a little
