Kimberly, I'm sure the doctor is giving you good medical advice, and I'm not disputing his suggestion....BUT, I have heard (on here too) and read that the chance of miscarriage after hearing/seeing the heartbeat is very low, I believe only about 5%. Hearing/seeing the heartbeat is a HUGE hurdle, so you can rest a little easier. I, too, have had several mc's, without detection of heartbeat. These early on in about 90% of the time are due to chromosonal abnormalities. Did they test the tissue in any of your past mc's? If so, that should tell you something. If, God forbid, this pregnancy ends up being not viable, please request tests on the tissue. But, sounds like so far, so good! Good luck!! Lynn
