Please answer-HCG after D&C question

HCG was 35,000 a few days before I had a D&C D&C performed on 7/22 (6 1/2 weeks pg) HCG tested exactly 3 weeks after the D&C and HCG was 22 This upcoming Monday will be 6 weeks since my D&C and I still don't think I ovulated (no period) Since my HCG at 3 weeks was 22 would that give you any determination as to when I would ovulate..does HCG need to be 0 to ovulate??

My Dr rec 8 weeks and then testing..if the hpt is negative she will give me something to jump start my period

Any advice appreciated..Thanks
