Levaquin

Wondering if anyone has information on Levaquin and effects it can have on pregnancy. Saw a previous post that in rat study it had no ill-effects, this is not true. Animal studies indicate increase in chance and severity of bone defects, which is why I'm interested. My wife was given said drug, as well as Cipro in her first trimester. Doctor falsely diagnosed her with a UTI, which after both medications (two seperate visits with same problem) did not help, she saw another doctor who immediately diagnosed her as being pregnant.

Our daughter was born with congenital absense of the fibia and curved tibia. Levaquin has been shown to cause defects in animals, and while in a perfect world I hope no one else has had this happen to them, I wish to ask if anyone has seen this or other bone/joint disorders with Levaquin being used during pregnancy. Thanks to anyone who can help.
