Hi. I have been feeling menstrual-like cramping for the past 18 hours. At my Obgyn appt on Tuesday, my cervix was still closed shut and hard. Could this cramping be the beginning of dilation and/or effacement? If so, what should I be doing to encourage it along? If not, what else could it be? Advice from docs or those with experience is much appreciated. Thanks!
