It is day 11 of my cycle. Yesterday, I had so much cervical mucous (more than I usually have) and had a positive OPK. Went in for bloodwork in the afternoon and my LH was 30, E2 was 64!, and Progesterone was .2. Nurse told me to come in today for an IUI because of the LH Surge. I asked for an ultrasound and there wasn't a mature follicle to be seen. The nurse said that my E2 was only 64 because I had probably ovulated already (E2 drops after ovulation?), but then why was my progesterone level so low? Doesn't progesterone rise after ovulation? Or - if my estrogen never was higher than 64 and I didn't develop a follicle this month, why did I have so much CM? If you can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
