During these bleeding/passage of clots episodes the OB checked babies hb's(I'm preg with twins) and said everything looks great and could not see where bleeding was coming from! These episodes occurred at 7 weeks and 8 weeks pregnant and I am still spotting a dark brown from the last episode(the past 3 weeks). I had an US done in NYC and they finally gave me a DX. They said I have a sub-chorionic hematoma...a small blood clot near the placenta. I am going to a perinatologist next week to see what he has to say....my OB says to take it easy and that it should resolve on its own! I know what you mean re: the heaviness/pressure because I have that feeling and I tend to spot more heavily when feeling the pressure. I also notice it is worse when I am more active. I have pretty much been on bedrest since the first episode and I am currently 11 weeks pregnant. Good luck with your pregancy and take it easy if you can!!!!
