24 weeks, one measurement off - 23.1weeksFrom: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 8 Aug 2002 16:19:19 -0500 (CDT)
I had a high AFP result and because of that I have to go in for regular ultrasounds. I have had fine results until this last one - I was 24 weeks. All measurements came back fine except one with was about 6 days off. I have heard that there is a margin of error - is that correct? Also, if it is within the margin of error, why does my doctor tell me? Is it necessary for me to know? What happens if the baby is small? Can't people just have small babies? Thanks in advance for any response.
