I am 5 weeks along and my HCG level (drawn yesterday) came back as extremely high at 29965. The doctor has arranged for an ultrasound which won't be done until August 16th. As I've mentioned before, I don't feel pregnant, had 3 days of spotting recently and am positive of my dates (LMP June 29, Ovulation July 13). I was also on the Pill at the time of conception.

I've miscarried 5 times but I do have a set of twins (who are now 3).

He couldn't think of any reason why it would be so high except a molar pregnancy.

Any thoughts on this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
