can I take Zyrtec allergy medication while breastfeeding?

My Dr. prescribed zyrtec for my allergies. Is it safe to take while breastfeedig? And if not, at what point to I have to stop in order to make sure it's out of my system before the baby is born? I am 28 weeks pregnant.

I also have the same question about Zicam Homeopathic allergy relief nasal gel. My Dr. recently told me I could use that as well, since the zyrtec doesn't seem to stop my nose from congesting at night while I sleep (which causes post nasal drip and wakes me up coughing, and keeps me from sleeping). can you tell me anything about that particular therapy>

Thanks, Julie
