My girlfriend started using the pill recently. I have since moved up to NY. Three weeks after starting on the Sunday after her period she came up to visit. We did some research on this site, and other trusted resources, and learned two things: One, that the pill, if taken on the Sunday after your period, takes a week to start working. And two, that 'pulling out' or not 'pulling out' makes no real difference at all for someone that's using the pill. Taking these into consideration, we had unprotected sex without me pulling out. She was supposed to get her period, I would assume, one month after her last period, which would be starting the just passed Monday. She didn't get it. Should she be expecting it at some other time because of the pill? She is on vacation right now and does not have access to a doctor or even a home test (and I don't even know if they would work this early). We have both been loosing sleep and have felt a general deteration in health from the stress. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions to offer? Mainly: is she not even supposed to have a period yet? Please... any help and as soon as possible would be wonderful. Thank you, Andrew
