Long Cycle and OvulationFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 31 Jul 2002 22:57:18 -0500 (CDT)
This last cycle was 35 days and the one before was 45 days. I'm not one >of the lucky ones who can tell when they are ovulating. My hubby and I >started trying to conceive on Sunday which was the 13th day for this >last cycle, since I don't really know when I ovulate, with these cycle >dates, when would be a good time to ttc? I know you ovulate 14 days >before your next period but if I don't know when my next period will be, >how would I determine ovulation? I have a 1 year old and with her, we >ttc on both the 13th day and the 19th day and I'm not sure when I get >pregnant. I've read of people being able to "check their cervix" to see >if there is mucous but as my OB said with my first pregnancy, "Your >cervix is in China" because it was so far up. Needless to say, I've >never tried checking my own cervix. Anyway, any help would be greatly >appreciated. Oh, for the record, my cycles are usually right to the day >but I have been under alot of stress lately due to living with inlaws >YUKKK!!!
