A breastfeeding woman needs an extra 500 calories a day. That doesn't
mean to eat a big mac, but an extra 500 calories or foods with a high
vitamin and nutrient content. You also need to drink a lot of fluids -
make sure your urine is pale yellow to clear - meaning you are drinking
