ovulation pains & implantation painsFrom: motherofnone (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Jul 2002 15:06:37 -0500 (CDT)
My menstrual cycle is 28-29 days long. Day 1 being the first day of my last period, I had unprotected sex on day 12 and 15, possibly ovulating on day 14, I noticed on about day 16 that I began having menstrual-like cramps (but very light and shortlived) about 2-3 times a day. My right nipple became very sensitive at the same time then about 3 days later my left as well - it is still that way today (day 20) My menstrual-like cramps are getting a little stronger but still extremely light by normal cramp standards. day 18 was worst of them all. My next period should start in 8 or 9 days. my question is, is it normal for a woman to get these types of menstrual-like cramps so early if she is pregnant? I'm thinking that it's not normal at all and most likely just all in my head. My body has played tricks before but this time it's different with the pain so early. tmm
