Dear Lynn i am not a medical professional but know that PCOS diagnosis
involves FSH and LH testing, cysts on the ovaries do not mean PCOS, and
no cysts do not mean PCOS is ruled out. Ovarian drilling is a rather
invasive procedure, i wonder why he wants to perform it for one cyst.
Obesity and excessive hair do not necessarily accompany PCOS, but
generally irregular periods do. I would see another ob/gyn just for a
2nd opinion. Good Luck.
