I can't answer your question at the bottom in relation to the clomid except to say that you are always free to get a second opinion. Just let your dr know that you want surgery but you want to put it on hold for now.

I had my first laparoscopy in 1997 and was about to have ovarian drilling done too and it went from laparoscopy and ovarian drilling to just straight laparoscopy. They didn't do the ovarian drilling b/c of the risk of scar tissue from it and the dr I had also told me that there is no guarantee that it would help me. He was probably right b/c even though I have PCOS I also have Endometriosis.
