My periods have always been very irregular but I knew that the doc would never really do anything unless I wanted to start a family. We tried unaided for 2 yrs and then went for help. I have been on clomid (upto max dose) and injectibles, none of which induced ovulation. Vaginal ultrasounds showed several small follicles on each ovary, all of which were below 10mm. I am now near the top of the UK NHS IVF list but my infertility specialist wants me to have ovarian drilling before IVF in the hope that I will be more responsive to the drugs. I've not had a period in over a year now. I am wondering if I have ever ovulated and am also worried that my ovarian reserve/quality of remaining eggs is poor. I just feel so alone as not many seem to have my problem.
