Killing off those bacteria with an antibiotic will allow the yeast to take over. Changing the environment in the vagina(Pregnancy or OCP's) can do the same thing. Being diabetic and having large amounts of sugar in the urine will allow sugar to get into the vagina, this allows the yeast to grow and causes a problem.
