postpartum total confusionFrom: Leila (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Jul 2002 11:10:55 -0500 (CDT)
I had my son 8 weeks ago. The lochia stopped 2 weeks ago and now it's back again ( yellow, tan color and it's very light). We had unprotected sex 13 days ago. Actually, the condom ruptures before my husband ejaculated. He got out on time. Anyway, I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. Is it still too early? Can this be a false negative? I have no idea if I ovulated or not since giving birth. I still did not get my period. Also can I become pregnant even if I still have the lochia? Ever since I heard that the pre-ejaculatory fluid contains sperms, I have been feeling sick, nauseous...I don't know if it's in my mind but I am scared to death. I heard that the IUD method can cause fertility problems. is this true? How effective is this method? We intend to have a second child in 2 to 3 years. Will using an for that long IUD can cause trouble ? Thanks a lot
