Chemical Pregnancy

My husband and I have not been trying, not been preventing pregnancy for about three months now. Last month, I thought for sure that I was pregnant, I had all of the classic symptoms. I took a First Response Early result pregnancy test, about two days before my period, and it came up positive. It was a faint positive...but it was there nonetheless. I told everyone, only to have my period show up right on schedule. I was angry, and upset. I went to the doctor's office and they told me that I had had what is called a chemical pregnancy. This happens when the egg does not implant the way that it should, and is washed away with you oncoming period. She went on to tell me that these are not that uncommon, they happen in nearly 40 percent of all pregnancies, and most women don't even know about it. It hit me harder than I thought it would just because I have already had one miscarriage in the past. I am ok with it, my husband and I are going to keep on trying, but I just wish that I would get pregnant already, and STAY that way. Anyone with a similar experience, or any words of advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you so much!
