One beta doesn't give much info. What's important it whether they go up or down. Did you have any other beta tests besides the one on 20dpo?

When I was bleeding at 5/6 weeks, they did beta every 2 days, until it was clear I was having a miscarriage. Then they did it every week, until the numbers came back to 0.

Now, it's very possible you don't have miscarriage. My mother and my MIL both had "regular periods" while they were pregnant.

When I had miscarriage, they told me there's nothing a doc can to to prevent miscarriage this early. They prescribe bedrest for your benefit, not to prevent m/c from happening.

I understand how you feel. I was very confused and frustrated, too. Instead of running around searching for second and third opinion, try to relax, rest a lot, watch your favorite movies, and let everyone pamper you. Take care of yourself!

I hope everything is OK.
