I go every week now to the GYN. I am 37 weeks now. Last Tuesday I was 60% effaced, one cm. dialated. Yesterday (Monday) I was 80% effaced still one cm. dialated. I have horrible cramping, (which they say is good) and lower back pains come and go. I am scared. My husband is very understanding and comforting through this whole thing, but I am still scared. I thought the baby was suppose to stop moving so much? They say he's been dropping, he is postioned nicely in my pelvis. He's just so active. I was wondering if anybody knows if I effaced another 20% in short of a week, will I be at 100% soon?

Also, I am very nervous that I won't know when my water breaks because I've had leakage the whole pregnancy and sometimes is heavy and I was checked last week and it wasn't broke. Not everyone gushes apparently.....

Today I had like a yellowish discharge and I was wondering if that means anything.

Can you tell this is my first?
