Breastfeeding is a lot of work and takes lots of fluids. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids (keep a bottle of water to drink beside you while you feed your baby). Increasing fluid intake may help with the constipation which may help with the pain. I would still check with your doctor as Dr Essien says because there could be another problem as well. Good luck!
