Colostrum???From: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 26 Jul 2002 21:11:27 -0500 (CDT)
I have a 4 month old son whom I have breastfed once in a while. I have mostly fed him at the left breast and on the right breast a few times. Aside from one time about a month ago, I have not breastfed him at all for at least a couple of months. Recently I have been exhibiting a few signs of pregnancy and have had quite a few positive HPTs. I have noticed that I can still express milk from my left breast while I can only express a tiny drop or two of clear liquid from my right breast. I am assuming the clear liquid is colostrum, but I am not sure. My question is, could this be due to a new pregnancy or has the milk from my right breast reverted back to colostrum? Is that even possible? Thanks!
