What could cause luteal phase changes other than pregnancy?

I am currently 13dpo on cd30. My cycles have always been 28 day cycles with the exception of my cycle from April to May--that cycle lasted 33 days for some reason. Cycle from May to June was 28 days and now I am in my June-July cycle which seems to be running long again. I am positive I ovulated on July 16-17 as I have been charting BBT and CM and also experienced ovulation spotting on July 17th. Last cycle I did chart CM but no BBT and noticed I noted EWCM on cd10 & cd11. As I'm not sure when I actually ovulated during my last cycle I can't determine how long my luteal phase should actually be. If I did ovulate on the days I noted EWCM in my last cycle that would put my luteal phase at somewhere between 16-18 days. Is that okay? Could a luteal phase be that long? I did take a pregnancy test this morning but it was negative. I did use the test that claims to be able to detect up to 3 days before your expected period. I check cervical position occasionally and it has maintained a high position from before ovulation! I have also maintained temperatures this cycle ranging from .2 to one degree above my coverline (which is only 97.3). My temps have also maintained at or .1-.2 degrees above the temp on the day after I ovulated since the day after. Does this show a triphasic temp or is that normal? Also, how many days before your period should temp. decrease when pregnancy is not achieved? Thank you for your help in deciphering my chart! Ange
