Dr Braun based on your responses in the post below, are you stating that cerclages have absolutely no benefit and those ladies who have carried successfully to term with a cerclage it was a fluke?

I personally find it hard to believe that when a women present to you with bulging membranes you offer your patients no help but send them to bed? I think it is very presumptious of you to make just a bold statement here on this forum that women with cerclages can get out of bed and do things. Not all women have cerclages placed preventatively and without complications. I really think you can not make such a generalized blanket statement as that and mislead someone who may have been advised to stay in bed with a precarious cerclage in place.

Just my 2 cents
