Please help me

I took the Depro Vera injection on 6 June - today is 18 July - and I have been bleeding all the time - (not spotting) - my OBGYN suggest that I have another Shot next week to stop the bleeding - do you think another shot will help? I have fibroids and am gong for a hysterectomie later this year.
