I had to start taking medication for severe reflux after the birth of my son and was breastfeeding. My gastroenterologist's oppinion on nexium is that it is not safe enough to chance taking while pregnant or breastfeeding so I had to stop bf'ing so I could get the problem under control. Just thought I would share her oppinion as a GI doctor. Best of luck!!
