I am on the 19th day of my cycle and experiencing some strange things! Please help! From: Ange (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Jul 2002 22:17:19 -0500 (CDT)
I have posted a few questions already of which I have gotten sufficient answers to most (Thank you for that all!). Now I seem to be having a new set of problems. I know in my first post I asked if prescription meds could affect BBT and/or cervical mucous. I don't remember getting an answer on those and that question is really coming into play now. I've been taking Amoxicillan since Saturday afternoon. On Friday night I took one Claritan D tablet and noticed a large amount of egg white mucous on Saturday. I have had mucous changes daily since Friday. I went from dry to egg white mucous to thick sticky mucous and back to egg white mucous over and over again. What could be going on here? Is it normal for my mucous to be changing so rapidly or could it be the meds I am taking? (by the way, I am taking the meds for allergies and tonsillitis) I usually do get a yeast infection while on antibiotics and may currently have one but I'm not sure! The last time I went to the restroom I found a large abundance (approx. 1/2 tsp>?) of somewhat stretchy egg white mucous that contained what seemed to be small pieces of thick white sticky mucous in it--some pieces even seem a tad brownish tinged. My temps have remained elevated since cd17 (may have been raised since cd14 depending on what could have affected my temps for two low days in between there--which is also the time I began getting sick) Does anyone have any idea on what is happening or should I consult my physician on this? Thank You----again! Ange
