My midwife is concerned with the amount of swelling in my feet, legs and hands. I have gained 7 pounds in one week. My blood pressure is always good, today it was 120/70, and there is no protein in my urine. Would a diagnosis of pre-eclampsia make much difference at this point, since I could have the baby soon anyway?
