16 days after period started-Spotting

I have had normal periods as far as I know. Even thought I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I have normal periods. Every 28 days, maybe a few days late, but only a few. I started on June 29 so I am not due for my period again until at least July 26th. But on July 14th, Sunday night I started spotting a little. Nothing severe, just lightly. pinkish, no brown. On Wed July 11th, I saw an egg whitish discharge, which I know is a sign of ovulation. I had intercourse that night. I have heard of implantation bleeding. But isn't it to early to tell?? I took a Pregnancy test, just out of curiosity it said “no”. I have had no other pregnancy symptoms, other than frequent urination, but I am also diabetic, so that is a symptom of that. Only difference is, my breasts aren’t sore like the usually are when I start. I am not bloated, I don’t have headaches. The only reason I think I may be on my period other than the bleeding is, I am craving sweets like I do when I am on my period. Could I just be started a period, really, really early. 15 days after I started??? What other reasons for bleeding early?? I am planning on taking a pregnancy test on July 26th just to see. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Melissa
