16 weeks, IC, cerclage, lots of pelvic pressureFrom: L. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 9 Jul 2002 15:41:40 -0500 (CDT)
Hello, This is my third pregnancy and first with a cerclage, placed at 11 weeks. Had a complete septum mostly repaired after a loss at 19 weeks. I have a day or two out of every week when I feel incredible pressure and an achiness at the mouth of the vagina (posterior and anterior). This is usually relieved when I lie on my side. This pressure and pain subsides after a day or two, but has been especially annoying this week, my sixteenth. I have a level II US scheduled in a week, and the cerclage did look good a little over a week ago when checked. In the meantime I spend most of my time lying down and feeling like a time bomb. Does this sound like normal growing pangs, or should I expect to feel more than usual discomfort as a cerclage patient? Thanks for your time.
-- L.
