I recently went through a similar experience. I had two d&c's for a
missed abortion at 12wks. After methergine and methotrexate, my levels
remained in the 200 range. I changed ob's and at my first visit to the
new ob was found to have remaining tissue in my cervix! Now, I am
recuperating and my hcg level is 2. It took 8 weeks for this entire
ordeal to end. I wish you the best of luck.
