I recently had a D&C in late March, and then never got a period (just heavy bleeding the week after the D&C). Checked HCG in late May to find it was around 300. Did another D&C in early June. Checked HCG a few times the following week - was in the 83 - 105 range. Then took methergine for about 5 days to force out remaining tissue. Next HCG test showed 83!

Any ideas as to why the levels wont drop? It's now 14 weeks since the original D&C.
