I am not a doctor, but I have had 2 C-sections. Insurance paid for both. The first was an emergency, the second was elective. After discussing the issue of VBAC with my doctor, I decided not to take any risks, no matter how how low the risks are. You didn't give much info in your question. Is this your first pregnency, second...? Have you had a previous C-section? If this is your first pregnancy you should discuss this with your doctor. You also can call your insurance carrier and discuss options with them. Good Luck!
