I took clomid without fertility testing. I did have a pelvic ultrasound which diagnosed ovarian cysts. The risk would be taking clomid if you did not need it. I think that you can get too much. From what I understand clomid helps you ovulate if you aren't or aren't regulary. Please talk to you dr. because clomid is not one of those drugs that need a lot of prescreening they just need to know that it is the right drug for you. And if any tests one ultrasound should be enough.
