14 weeks , and transient uterine contraction noted during ultrasound ?From: Emma (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 2 Jul 2002 03:42:13 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I am 28 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am 14.5 weeks pregnant, and had an ultrasound yesterday. The report says that a "transient uterine contraction was noted during the scan", what does that mean, is it dangerous? Does than mean I am miscarrying. Also, it said that I have "borderline cervical incomptenece for followoup scanning", what are my chances of carrying my baby to term? Could this resolve later? Last, it said I had a posterior placenta, is it normal? I tried investigating that, but everything I found is talking about something called "placenta previa", I dont have a "previa" in my description. Thanks in advance.
