Early Ultrasound-No SacFrom: Kelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 30 Jun 2002 15:10:18 -0500 (CDT)
I am 33, I have PCOS, and have one live birth in 2000. I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in April. I began feeling pregnant on June 16(bloated and pulling sensations), but had a negative HPT. Tested again on Thursday, June 20th and had a positive HPT. Since I have not had a period since miscarriage, the only clue I have as to gestational age is the HPT and a Beta HCG of 1611 ml taken on June 28th. I also had an ultrasound on Friday and no sac was seen in uterus or tubes. I go back for a quant HCG tomorrow morning but doctor gave me no indication of the course of treatment after that. Is this another miscarriage or is it too early to tell? I have no symtoms or risk factors for ectopic. Thanks.
