Hello. I'm 25 and my menstrual cycle has always worked like clock work, especially since I began taking Alesse. However, I have recently missed my period (I did have one day of dark spotting and then nothing). I have done a pregnancy test days after my period should have started and it was negative. My question is do I continue to take Alesse on the regular schedule or go off of it? As I understand it I will not get my period for another 3 weeks if I continue taking the pills. What would be your advice? I do plan on taking another pregnancy test on day 36 of my cycle. I would appreciate any advice....
