Everything I have read says that the people most at risk are the very sick and elderly. For most people, if they get it, they will experience flu like symptoms. I don't think there is much stuff researched on the effect on pregos. The best you can do is avoid being outside in the morning and at dusk. Ultimately, with this question and many of the others on this bored, the best thing you can do is to try to relax. The odds of getting WNV are very very tiny--you have a greater chance of getting in a car wreck or many other things versis WNV--so you should try not to freak too much. The safest thing for you and your baby is try to remain calm and keep things in perspective. Hope this helps!
